Procedures:
Day 1
- Anticipatory Set: Show examples of origami and books of images of different types.
- Demonstrate folds.
- Have students follow along.
- Review vocabulary.
Individual projects can include: Boat with drawing of ocean and island in background or little people on board, flowers, make pop-up book, vase, cat, dog, house in yard, frog with fly on tongue on lily pad with flowers, house with drawn or 3-D furniture, heart with Valentine’s day or mother’s day message, animals in farm, animals at zoo, crane with 3-D shredded paper nest, etc.
