Duck Stamp Projects Completed!

This week we did the Duck Stamp project with both classes. The older class really enjoyed this because they knew it was a competition between them, their friends, and tons of students from all over. The younger class was also more excited about drawing ducks this week than last week. They were able to remember a lot of the facts we taught them from the week before, and they became even more creative in drawing their habitats and decorating their ducks. All the students were able to display their awesome artistic talents on large stamp cutouts that will be sent to the US Wildlife Service to be judged. Not only were they able to enter into a competition, but they also learned a little about the conservation of the wildlife around us, which is always very important. They also all received a certificate of completion award for competing in this event.
