Will Allen believes in community farming and the availability of fresh, affordable, nutritious food for all – regardless of class or economic status. Community farming is a convenient and fun way to bond with the community and farm-fresh produce with a standard, shared garden.


George Washington Carver was born a slave and eventually became the first African American to achieve a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural science. He was dedicated to nature and invented many ways for nature to be preserved and for farmers to increase their yield. He believed that nothing in nature should be wasted.


Savonala “Savi” Horne aims to help financially distressed farmers and landowners. She believes in sustainable farming methods that help farmers lower waste and pollution while increasing profits; such methods include using windmills, water management, and healthy soil development.
