Today was Elijah’s Birthday and we wanted to make it special. We read a fabulous book “Happy Birthday to you” By Dr. Seuss. The class loved it and it highlighted how special birthdays are. When the book says shout “I am I” I had the whole class shout “I am I”. It is important for them to know that. Which ties into a past lesson of the book “The Mixed Up Chameleon” By Eric Carle Where the Chameleon realized in the end he wanted to be himself.
